Dr. Sylvia Romm, who has treated patients on LiveHealth Online for the past 2 years talked to us about her experience as a doctor and what she loves about LiveHealth Online.
Dr. Romm went to the University of Arizona for medical school, did her residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and received a Masters of Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health. She’s been a doctor for 5 years and her focus is pediatrics.

Q: What attracted you to telehealth and LiveHealth Online?
A: I love that I am able to see patients in a way that works for them, both at the time they need help, but also in a way that they truly appreciate.
Q: Outside of working, what would you like to share about your personal life?
A: I live in NYC with my husband and 2 kids. I enjoying sailing, running, and traveling.
Q: If you were talking to a consumer who was hesitant about seeing a doctor online, what would you say to them?
A: You’ll be surprised at how easy it is to talk to a doctor over video. Before you know it, you’ll forget that we’re not across the room from you.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about LiveHealth Online?
A: I love how grateful families are when they are able to get help without leaving their homes.”
Q: What’s one surprising condition you can treat on LHO that patients are surprised about?
A: We can often help kids out with sport injuries, and let parents know if they need to go in for an x-ray or not. That can save families a lot of time and money!
