During the visit, they will have an in-depth discussion with you about your medical history and conduct basic health checks such as reviewing your body mass index, checking your weight on your home scale, checking your blood pressure (if you have a blood pressure cuff), and examining visible clothed body parts for signs of concern. Your primary care provider may order labs or refer you to a specialist. Your primary care provider will review the results with you and incorporate into your care plan.
