After logging into your LiveHealth Online account, click on the LOCATION link at the top of the page. Next, select your state location and click Save. You’ll only see doctors licensed to treat you in that state. Don’t forget to change your state back when you get home.
If you have a Medicaid health plan, the video visit may only be covered when you are located in the state where your Medicaid coverage is active.
To use LiveHealth Online through a desktop or laptop computer, you will need high-speed internet access and a webcam or built-in camera with audio capability. To learn which computer hardware and software you need, click here.
It’s easy to add dependents to your account. Just follow these steps:
From a computer:
- Login
- Select My Account (in the top right of the screen)
- Choose My Profile
- Under My Children select Add
- Select Create New Profile and complete the information and choose Add Profile.
Using a mobile device:
- Login
- Tap More at the bottom of the screen
- Tap My Children
- Tap Add Child
- Enter the requested information and tap Done to save
A service key is an optional code that’s provided to certain consumers to unlock additional services available through LiveHealth Online that their employer offers.
If you don’t have a service key that’s okay! You can still use LiveHealth Online, just leave this field blank.
Yes. You can sign up for a LiveHealth Online account and log in to have a visit with a doctor using a computer with a webcam. When you log in, you choose a doctor. Next, complete the required information on the computer screen and you’ll be able to see the doctor you requested. During the visit, you’ll use the chat box to converse with the doctor. If you need Customer Support, you can use the relay service (711). Chat capability is not available on the mobile app.

No. Any individuals over the age of 18 must have their own account with unique email address, due to privacy and security requirements mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
They will be able to add the health insurance plan they are covered under within the profile they create through LiveHealth Online.
Don’t worry, you can enter your health insurance information anytime. Just follow these simple steps:
From a computer:
- Login
- Select My Account
- Choose My Profile
- Under Health Insurance Information select edit
- Select Edit and then change your insurance information
- Choose Save
Using a mobile device:
- Login
- Tap More at the bottom of the screen
- Tap My Insurance
- Enter your insurance information
- Tap Save
If you don't have health insurance or your health plan doesn't cover online visits using LiveHealth Online then you don't have to enter any insurance information.
To use LiveHealth Online you must have an email address for your username, but you can change your username (email address) any time. First log in, then:
- Select My Account (in the top right section of the screen)
- Choose My Profile
- Scroll down and select Identification
- Choose Edit and then edit your email address to another email address of your choice
- Select Save
Yes, you can use LiveHealth Online to visit with a doctor, therapist or psychiatrist in all 50 states.
