How much does a LiveHealth Online visit cost?

LiveHealth Online fees are coordinated with your PepsiCo medical plan. For example, the fee for a medical consultation is $59. The consultation fee will be applied subject to your annual deductible, coinsurance, or copay, depending on which medical plan you are enrolled in. You will always see what you owe before you begin a visit.

Yes. To have a visit for your child, create your own account first and add any children under the age of 18 to your profile when prompted. When you start a visit, you’ll be asked who the visit is for — from the drop down select the child as the patient for the visit.

Any individuals over the age of 18 must have their own account with unique email address, due to privacy and security requirements mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA).

The doctors you see using LiveHealth Online can prescribe medication based on their clinical expertise and the medical conditions presented during the time of your visit. If necessary, the doctor can send prescriptions electronically to the pharmacy you select.

Per the Federal Ryan Haight Act of 2009, telehealth providers are prohibited from prescribing controlled substances. Information regarding controlled substances can be found here. In addition to controlled substances, the following additional medications cannot be prescribed:

Gabapentin (exception: Psychiatry is able to prescribe)
Muscle relaxants (Baclofen, Soma, Flexeril, Diazepam, Skelaxin, Robaxin, Tizanidine, etc.)
Lifestyle drugs (Cialis, Viagra)
Weight loss drugs
Medications containing ephedrine/pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, Claritin-D, etc.)

LiveHealth Online is a great option for care when you have a common medical conditions, such as cough or cold, flu, fever, ear pain, diarrhea, headache, allergies, minor rashes, etc. for which you’d normally visit your primary care doctor or urgent care facility.
